The holiday season is here which means finding wonderful gifts for loved ones and friends.

Hey Lapland recommends these unique stores and boutiques in Swedish Lapland for holiday shopping. These stores are located in Gällivare, Kiruna and Jokkmokk.

The stores and boutiques offer unique items that cannot be found at just any store. Many of them feature items that are local to the region and/or handcrafted by local artists.

If you plan to visit these stores in person, remember to check ahead of time to make sure they are open and what their hours are.

Eriksson & Rönnquist, Gällivare – visit website
A boutique with gourmet food products, clothing, home decor, jewelry, and a large selection of candles. They also have Dundret-branded items, which is Gällivare’s renowned ski resort.
Gällivare Museum gift shop – visit website
Located on the top floor of the Gällivare Museum. This store features crafts from local artists, children’s toys, books about the region, jewelry and more. Note, opening hours are limited, so be sure to check when they are open.
Lenas Presentbod, Kiruna – visit Facebook
Features a wonderful selection of home decor, gourmet food products, candles produced in Denmark, loose tea, skincare products and more. Located right in the center of Kiruna.

Spis Restaurant, Kiruna – visit website
Contains a small boutique with gourmet food products and neat items that are unique in the region. A great place to browse and find gifts.
Gift shop at the Ice Hotel, Jukkasjärvi – visit website
A small gift shop featuring locally produced products and items that reflect the surrounding region, for example, ice and snow. Also sells clothing.
